Using unconventional tactics for the time, Rogers' Rangers became primary scouts for the British Army in the mid-1700's.

This is the third release of Barzso's Rogers' Rangers.  This figure set includes seven (7) poses.  Originally released in 2010 with the Battle of Bushy Run, these dynamic poses return in the same green they initially adorned the playset battlefield in.

Rogers' Rangers were a renowned group of colonial American soldiers during the French and Indian War, established in 1755 by Major Robert Rogers. Known for their unconventional and highly effective warfare tactics, they operated primarily in the wilderness of North America, executing raids and reconnaissance missions against French forces and their Native American allies.

Rogers recruited his men from the New England colonies, selecting individuals with skills in hunting, tracking, and survival. The Rangers were distinguished by their green uniforms, which provided camouflage in the dense forests where they operated. Their tactics were revolutionary for the time, employing guerrilla warfare techniques such as ambushes, hit-and-run attacks, and deep penetration into enemy territory.

The unit's most famous document, "Rogers' Standing Orders," outlined principles of flexibility, surprise, and rapid movement, which are still studied in military academies today. One of their notable achievements was the raid on the Abenaki village of St. Francis in 1759, where they struck deep into enemy territory, dealing a significant blow to French-allied forces.

Rogers' Rangers set the foundation for the future development of special operations forces in the United States. Their legacy continued through the American Revolutionary War, where many former Rangers played key roles. The innovative tactics and discipline instilled by Major Rogers left a lasting impact on military strategy, influencing both contemporary and future military operations.
